All the finished
quilts debuted today at Second Saturday Sampler to a lot of ooh’s and ahh’s!
This year everyone had a choice of making 12” or 6” reproduction blocks with the
fabric that came in the kits. Wanda, who designed the series, set her blocks in
a classic reproduction setting.
The smaller 6” blocks were set in a similar,
but simpler setting.
Dena, who made all the contemporary alternate blocks this year, designed an original contemporary setting to showcase her blocks.

If you like the setting, but didn’t make the contemporary blocks, it will work equally well with reproduction fabrics as you can see from Chris’s quilt.
