Trunk Show Arrives from Cotton-in-the-Cabin
You won't want to miss the latest trunk show that has arrived at Little Quilts. From Sandy McCay of Cotton-In-The-Cabin, the quilt and doll clothes patterns are in her book "Reminiscences" ($20), featuring Grandma Minnie's Doll Clothes & Quilts. Antique dolls are modeling the trunk show clothes:
The quilt is a backdrop for many articles of doll clothing:
If you are a doll collector or have kids or grandkids who would admire the display of these three precious antique dolls, come to see them. If you have antique dolls, think about making some of the clothes from this book out of reproduction fabrics. Your dolls could wear them and you could store their real clothes away from sunlight and potential damage. If you have American Girl Dolls, these patterns will work to cloth them, as well.

North American Mystery Quilt Classes at Little Quilts
Recent class members of the Mystery on the Jersey Shore class, June 6th, had fun looking for clues to their quilt in the sandbox:
Participants had their color choice of "Sands of Time" (tans and browns), "Sea Grass" (blues and greens), or "Regatta" (red, white, and blue) and had a great time working on their mystery quilt.
There are two more sessions of the North American Mystery Quilt coming up: Texas Cattle Drive on July 19th and California Red Carpet on August 14th. Teacher Linda Wirtz has been pulling together incredibly attractive fabric choices for the Cattle Drive for the color choices "Texas Gold" (black and gold), "Yellow Rose of Texas" (yellows) and "Lone Star" (red, white and blue). Follow the Little Quilts link at right and sign up now for the next two sessions of this delightful class.
