Adele has chosen to use our setting and our finishing kit to set her twelve inch blocks. along with several others. They all did a great job.

Holy Hexies Batman!

We keep following Allison’s progress on the king-size quilt she’s making with ¼” hexagons. (And, no, that is not a typo – they really are ¼”!) Allison will be doing a hexagon demo during shop hop if you’d like to see this block up close.

Precious Memories

 Melissa took the beautiful cross stitched Precious Moment blocks embroidered by her mother and turned them into a beautiful quilt to welcome her new baby. Precious!

Strip Quilt Race Project

Doris and her amazing Jellyroll race quilt. This quilt uses just one jellyroll and goes together in just 45 minutes! If you get tangled up in your strips it may take just a few minutes longer.  So Dang Easy!

Here's an idea I just thought of... for a wedding quilt or a baby quilt, throw in a plain coloered strip with the date (and name on it)

Hand Quilting is Still "Alive"

The picture is a little blurry, but we see so few quilts that are hand quilted these days we just had to post this one. Rita finished the quilting while sitting under the pool table with a tornado flying overhead! The quilt will be hanging in the Bulloch Hall Quilt Show, March 9 – 17, 2013, so you can get a close up view of Rita’s beautiful quilting.
