What's New at Little Quilts

When you come into Little Quilts, be sure to see the sweetest example of hand embroidery that is behind the register (see below): Aunt Bea's Parlor. The sample is here from the designer, Judy Reynolds; pattern available at $15. The quilt measures 47x56" and has twenty 6" blocks; each block is a different basket design, each in multi-colored hand embroidery - so pretty and nostalgic.

Little Quilts has another sample from the book Better by the Dozen, by Susan Teegarden Dissmore ($24.95). Twelve blocks, twelve quilts, endless possibilities. Follow a block of the month format to make these gorgeous quilts at a pace that suits your schedule. There are interchangeable block frames as well. Also you will find tips for making each quilt as a block of the month project:

The new Summer Schedule is now online. The hard copy of the schedule will be in the shop within two weeks. One class for next session will be Pickets & Posies (see below) from the Silver Thimble Club. Saturday, June 7th, 10am -3pm, $30. Call or come in to Little Quilts to register.

Kathy Niemann and Barbara Barnes continue to treat Little Quilts Primitive Devotees with more Primitive Gatherings classes. As they say, it's two (fun and knowledgeable) teachers for the price of one :-). If you love primitive quilts, you must not miss these summer classes. The Watermelon Slices (see below) will be May 28th, 10am-12:30pm, $20, includes pattern:
