2008 Little Quilts Christmas Party Staff Gift Exchange
The Little Quilts Staff Christmas parties are fantastic! In addition to great food (we've got some great cooks on our staff), we also do a gift exchange each year. This year we exchanged little quilt tops (how appropriate :-) ) The eagle appliqué quilt came from a Lori Smith pattern, "Fit to Frame: Set Ten":
The quilt on the right is from another Lori Smith pattern "Oh My Stars!"; just pick four print fat quarters plus one background fat quarter to make the quilt top, a pieced back and the binding:
The quilt on the left incorporates some of the Posey Packet patterns, available in the shop and online:
We love the variety in all the quilts that were exchanged:
These were made from Jo Morton Club patterns:
Some of the Christmas exchange quilt tops are original patterns:

Time to Sign up for Classes at Little Quilts
It's a New Year and time to sign up for your next group of classes at Little Quilts. Check out the list of classes with descriptions and examples on the Little Quilts website. There is still time to read the descriptions and make decisions on a fun quilt class.
For example, you may want to consider Wanda Hizer's year-long Baltimore Album series of classes. Participants will either make a Baltimore quilt over the course of the year or may work on a Baltimore quilt that they have already begun. Wanda teaches many classes at Little Quilts and is the most wonderful teacher.

Girl Gang is a celebration of primitive quilt design; this year the classmates will work on Brannock and Patek primitive projects.
Perhaps you have decided it's time to make your Dear Jane quilt. There is now a support group for Dear Jane; read about it in the classes description on the website.
Happy New Year and a Little Quilts "Homecoming" Show and Tell
It's always fun to see customers bring finished projects to show us! Congrats to Marlene Uglum from the West Georgia Quilters Guild in Carrollton. She brought her version of our "Homecoming" booklet. She had collected many of the original fabrics used in our quilt including the original border fabric.
