Did someone say Zippers?

Zippers, zippers and MORE zippers.....

We've got lots of new purse and tote bag patterns. These all use the new zippers and are quick and easy to make. The “Peek-A-Boo” Bag pattern has a vinyl side – no more losing your sewing supplies in the bottom of the bag as everything is visible!

And I feel like a blog posting is not complete without a little show-n-tell from our talented customers...

It’s getting close to the 4th of July and we’re seeing lots of patriotic quilts. Carol Ann Holton used the pattern from last year’s Second Saturday Sampler quilt to set a collection of red, white and blue sampler blocks . We love the border – what a great way to showcase an unusual fabric.

Another “flag waving” quilt ready for the holiday!

Renee Medley and her husband stopped by the shop on their way home to Tennessee after a wonderful vacation on Sanibel Island. We love to see Renee because she always brings the most beautiful appliquéd quilts to show us! This one is from the pattern “A Tisket A Tasket” by Bunny Hill. Renee is hand quilting the quilt and I wish you could see her quilting stitches – she’s good!

As always... Happy Quilting!
