Show and Tell

Keep these great quilts coming!  We love to see and share your finished projects!

Darlene Brandl moved from New York to Sugar Hill, Georgia, just in time for the Great Atlanta Shop Hop and look what she did with all those charm squares she collected at the shops she visited! Her tote bag will hold lots of fabric and supplies for future shopping trips or classes she might attend! Great idea, Darlene!

We were all in awe of this quilt when Joyce Brannon brought it in today. Joyce works two jobs, but still had time to make all these 3” blocks – so much for any of the excuses I may have for not getting things done! Joyce used the pattern “Tribute To Judie” by Civil War Legacies to make this very antique looking quilt top.

When it was Kathy Duggleby’s turn to host her bee group, she decided it was easier to call Little Quilts than to clean house! Her group, The Meanderers Bee Group, met in our classroom and had a great time learning to make crazy pieced stars. Kathy found the pattern, Crazy Stars, on All People Quilt.com.

Kathy had so much fun with the technique that she also made this very patriotic version of crazy stars just in time for the 4th of July.
