There’s a new FREE pattern on our website under “Free Patterns”. It makes this fun Christmas Tree out of our new Little Quilts wooden yardstick. Simply cut it as indicated on the pattern sheet, stain or paint it, assemble and embellish with vintage buttons, beads, glitter, or goodies from your stash. Pay attention to your placement for drilling the holes…see our oops! With an upside down ‘branch’! Stop in for a free yardstick!...mention you read about it on our blog! We’d love to see pictures of how you embellish it…and we’ll give you a free fat 1/4th. Shown also is a tree made out of a vintage yardstick. They are hard to come by these days!

Now that is stinkin' cute. Thanks for sharing, I love it. But, I love my yardstick collection and don't have a duplicate at this time but will soon. I will make one of these.
