Parade of Quilts!!!

We had a party for our Second Saturday Sampler participants on Sunday and we were so excited to see all the beautiful quilts that were shown. We thought you might like to see some of them, too.

Janis made a few extra blocks and designed her own setting to make a larger, bright quilt. 

 

We offered several different choices of fabrics for the borders and Sandy chose to finish her quilt with the red floral border. Love it! 

 

Chris used fabrics from her stash to make alternate blocks and designed her own setting. 

 

Jodean hand pieced her entire quilt and then hand quilted it in time for the party!

 

 

  Bobette’s quilt was also hand pieced, hand quilted and bound.

 

 

     MaryAnn chose the red floral border fabric. Her quilt was machine quilted.

 

                        Mary Ann also finished the Black and White alternate quilt

 

Tricia used the brown floral border fabric and chose to make a larger quilt by making 20 blocks. 

 

Jean made the 6” size blocks and designed her own setting. Love the striped fabric she used for the borders! 

 

                The blocks look beautiful set with cream sashings. Lovely quilt, Marlys.

  

Julie also chose to set her blocks with light sashings. How creative to use some of her leftover fabrics for colorful sashing strip!

   Nicole made an alternate version of the quilt in Black and White. She designed her own setting.

                          We love the pillowcases Nicole made to go with her quilt

 

 

Nicole also made alternate blocks out of floral fabrics in her stash. The trellis setting she chose makes her quilt look like a beautiful garden.

 

Nicole had so much fun making this quilt with the 6” alternate blocks she made. Looks like a village I’d just love to move to! 

 

                     Madeline made the blocks in black, white, and red for her granddaughter.

 

Sue combined the large and small blocks in her quilt. This was her first Second Saturday Sampler experience and we loved her quilt! 

   Jerie finished her quilt using brown borders and a different red fabric for the setting triangles. 

 

Jerie also made the black and white alternate blocks, added yellow setting fabrics and came up with this great contemporary-looking quilt.

   Eloise loved the teal fabric from the Pheasant Run fabric line and decided to use those fabrics for her finishing fabrics. Beautiful!
