It’s here! Little Quilts newest line of fabric, Whittier Crossing, is a beautiful collection of teals, pinks and browns. We think the reproduction-style prints, paisleys, and toiles are a great reflection of times gone by. In addition to yardage, we have fat quarters, bundles and mega-bundles of the entire line along with kits for both a quilt and a table runner.

Back to School
Well, it's hard to believe that summer is coming to an end and vacations are winding down. We've been busy here and so have our customers!
Joyce Challis stopped by to show her quilt that she did from a Little Quilts' Kit that she purchased a long time ago. The original quilt was done by our Sylvia Johnson. Joyce stated that she just loved the turkey reds and the yellows and that this quilt was for her. The quilting was done by Ardis Young who is a long arm quilter. I wish you could see the quilting. It is exquisite! Joyce is the person on the left in the picture.

Claudia Gray finished her first Punch-needle projects and we loved them! She mounted her finished pieces on wool and framed them with old frames she found at the thrift shop. So “antique -y”!
Classic Santa Quilt (a Little Quilt Block of the Month a few years ago). Pieced and appliquéd by Eve Williams. Machine quilted with wool batting and cotton to give the appearance of trapunto. Great job.
Dana Jones was in the shop yesterday auditioning backing fabrics for this top that she recently finished. Dana has made several quilts, but her husband calls them all blankets!
BOO!
A lot of fun things are showing up for Halloween! Only a few months until those trick or treaters will come knocking on your door! Make your home festive with Halloween projects or decorating trinkets from Little Quilts.
Helen Marie Kirby, one of our good customers from the Augusta area, and her daughter made this fabulous quilt from their “Dear Jane” leftovers plus other reproduction fabrics. What a treasure!
Anytime Jeanette Rees from North Carolina walks through the door we're happy because she always has something wonderful to share! This trip was no different and everybody in the shop got excited about this finished quilt (finished is GOOD!) that she made in a class with Kaffee Fassett in Houston last fall. Luscious fabrics!
Linda Kelley from the Silver Thimble Club came to Little Quilts a few days ago to select fabrics to finish this quilt. The quilt was done from a pattern by the Temecula Quilt Co. shop and was featured in the Fall 2009 Quilt Sampler magazine.
Fall football is right around the corner....
Mary Phagan-Keane stopped in to share her T-Shirt quilt featuring her favorite Florida football team and honoring her favorite coach, Bobbie Bowden. A terrific job Mary. You need to send Bobbie a picture. He would be proud.
Lisa’s Lichfield made her first quilt and shared it with us this morning. It is for a friend’s new baby boy. Way to go Lisa!
