It will always be summer at your house if you have a bright and cheery wall hanging like this one hanging! Pat got tired of making sampler blocks for a quilt so she used the blocks she had and came up with this design instead. As you know, quilting makes the quilt, and hopefully you’ll be able to see some of the beautiful hand quilting on this one – beautifully done!

Second Saturday Sampler 2010-2011
Show and Tell for today at the 2011 first session of the Second Saturday Sampler was inspirational. 2010 Second Saturday Sampler Quilts. One customer, Julie B. added more blocks of her own to make a queen size masterpiece. Nancy C. redrafted the blocks to be 3" (NO JOKE!!) the quilt looks full size in the picture. Trust me, the blocks are 3".
If you like what you see and wish you could have made these quilts, you can start with the Second Saturday Sampler 2011. If you are a local customer, you can still stop in and get your first block for $6. Make the block, bring it on March 12, between 9:30 and 11 and get the next block for free. Out of town customers, sign up for autoship on the website and participate from afar.

Bee of Extraordinary Influence Quilt
It is an honor to show you this customer show and tell original.. It is to be a gift for her child's teacher. Anna Maria S. used Photoshop and "cartooned" the photos of the children. Then she transferred them to fabric.
It is titled "Bee of Extraordinary Influence". Isn't that the truth about what teachers can be?
The design is remarkable and the quilting is inspired.

It's a good day when...
We love to see your finished projects here at Little Quilts and this particular day brought two great quilts to share!
Our favorite customer from Sarasota was passing through and stopped by to show us her finished quilt called Cherry Delight. The pattern is from Alex Anderson. Great job, Sue!
Dena also stopped by with her latest creation. She used a pattern from the Anka’s Treasures book “On A Roll Again” and William Morris fabric to make this beauty. Love it!

Civil War Tribute Block of the Month 2010
Ring the bells and wave the flags, Mary is the first person to stop by to show off her Civil War Tribute Block of the Month quilt top and it is absolutely stunning – way better than the picture!!! It’s the first one we’ve seen finished and it is magnificent. As you can see, it’s a very large quilt -almost 108” square and Mary did a beautiful job piecing it. Way to go, Mary!
