Don't Miss the Fun!

As many of you know, Little Quilts has been designing fabric for many years now  (with our newest line, "Roswell Mill" due to arrive in the shop any day now!)  For over fifteen of those years, we've been designing for Henry Glass Fabrics, part of the Jaftex family.  Jaftex is celebrating 85 years in the textile industry this month with a blog hop featuring all their designers and lots of great prizes and give-aways that you won't want to miss!

Jaftex Corp. was founded in the 1930’s when Jacob A. Fortunoff started selling fabric on the streets of New York.  At that time, the mainstay of the business was women’s sleepwear and lingerie.  In the 80’s, Jacob’s grandson, Robert, dramatically changed the business of the company.  The business focus was transferred to the over the counter quilt industry when Robert purchased companies like A.E. Nathan, Henry Glass, Stylemaker, Chanteclaire, Fabric Editions/Studioe and more recently The Blank Quilting Corp.  Robert is now joined by his two sons, Scott and Greg.  Scott currently is the President of Studioe Fabrics, The Blank Quilting Corp. & A.E. Nathan Co., Inc.  Greg just joined the business in late 2014 and has successfully spearheaded the company’s foray into precut fabrics among other contributions.

To celebrate, Jaftex invited over 30 designers, quilt industry friends and bloggers to join in a Blog Hop. Each of the 30  received a bundle of fabric and were asked to make something special for the blog hop.  To see their creations all specially  photographed at the Bryant Park/New York City Public Library and find out more about the designers, you will want to visit their blog pages during the month of September.   Little Quilts will be featured on September 25!  For a complete list of dates to visit each  designers blog go to the Henry Glass blog at

There are great prizes to be won, too!  Oh!  My!!
