Closing Sale

As most of you have probably heard, after 17 years in the retail business, Mary Ellen is retiring and Little Quilts is closing.  The plan is for the shop to close its doors for the final time on Dec. 24, 2015. Tomorrow, Nov.5, starting at 10 am sharp we will be having a huge Wall-to-Wall Retirement Sale and we hope you'll stop by to take advantage of the special prices.  If parking is a problem, you can use the parking lot in the strip shopping center next to us.  Please use the top of the parking lot away from the Dollar General and the other shops in that shopping strip. There will be lots of prizes to win and great prices on everything in the shop so we hope you'll stop by so we can say "good-bye" in person.  17 years is a long time and you've all become friends to us - closing the shop will be hard. We appreciate all your business through the years and value the friendships!

I am sure it is hard to let go knowing all the quilting friends you see everyday. I am sure your patrons will miss you too. I was lucky enough to join in your on line BOM last year and hope to get it done. I absolutely adore mini/little quilts you have a gorgeous store by the looks of things. I wish you happy retirement and now it is time to make your own personal quilts instead of store samples ;-)

Oh my! I had not heard!!! I've been busy with our newest grandson, Tommy! He's 3 months old and we've been watching him while his parents are in Rome (planned before the pregnancy!). I'm so sad to see the store close. The Little Quilts books got me started on quilting and I've bought things for years but never actually made it into the store -- even though Mary Ellen offered to open for me on a Sunday when we were in town on our way from Florida.

Thank you for your wonderful books, patterns and clubs. I will miss you but I hope you enjoy your retirement!!!

God bless!

Sorry to hear you are closing, but life moves on, as we all know. I stopped in during the Row by Row Experience since I was on a road trip. Good luck to all of you on your new ventures.
