The winds may howl and the electricity may be out, but nothing can deter two
quilting friends from quilting – not even Hurricane Isaac. Lynn drove all the
way to New Orleans to quilt with her friend. When the power went out, these two
resourceful ladies got out the longest extension cords they could find
and ran
them from the kitchen, through the garage, out of the house and into the
basement of a neighbor who had a large generator that would power their sewing
machines.
By sitting close to the kitchen windows they had enough light to
see. Where there’s a will there’s a way!
